For me, masturbation seems inversely related to the amount I have sex.  I don't know if this is unique but the more frequent and the better my sex life the more I seem to masturbate.  I have sex usually once a day average and jerk multiple times per day.  When in a new relationship and having sex multiple times per day I would beat off every chance I could!  Strangely unproductive lol ...
